Following our mission, we dedicate our efforts on allowing Armenian children to take advantage of better education and real life learning in the areas of engineering, science, mathematics and technology. We live in a constantly changing, increasingly complex, dynamic and evolving world, so it is more important than ever that the future generation is prepared and capable to bring knowledge and skills to solve problems, absorb the information and to know how to evaluate the situation to make decisions. Building children’s skills and knowledge in all matters of technology is important no matter where they live as all children need to have access to a quality learning environment. In the current conditions that the children of Artsakh are growing, when electricity and water supplies are not constant and the terrain is complicated, where the war has destroyed learning centers and schools, hence directly impending children’s access to educational opportunity, the need to educate the youngsters is becoming an even greater priority. The skills that the students are eager to develop in science, engineering and technology are essential to their survival and their ability to help in dire situations, where they meet complex challenges every day.
Yeghounts Foundation is striving to build partnerships with local and international stakeholders to advance teaching, learning and research in the areas of engineering, science and technology to close the gap and to respond to the growing interest among the young population of Artsakh. Currently, we are partnering with a number of individuals and organizations that provide education either remotely or in person. We support the educational programs with instructional materials and technologies to ensure the success of the process. We invite talented, well-educated and generous individuals to share their knowledge in the vast range of fields and to conduct lectures or courses in-person or remotely through full lectures or short vignettes.
