Our Foundation

For the last ten years, our families were involved in various projects in Artsakh and Armenia. Forming a Yeghounts Foundation was a natural step to achieve new levels and allowing children to learn better and be stronger in life. Only together we can accomplish these goals. Our founders, with the counsel from Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA), were on the forefront of the movement to stop the war in 2020 and were successful in securing US Congressman Brian Higgins’s support to join the Congressional Armenian Caucus.

The Yeghounts Foundation is organized as a public benefit corporation under the New York State Nonprofit Corporation Act, Title 13, and will carry on business and operate anywhere within the State of New York or in any state where it has a legal authority to carry on business and operate. The Foundation is intended exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

The Yeghounts Foundation is based in Buffalo, New York, USA.

Yeghounts Foundation is an educational access nonprofit organization, completely funded by our generous donors. Your continual support of our programs is crucial to the success of the Yeghounts Foundation and the deserving students we serve. Since we do not charge families tuition or fees for our programs and do not receive government support, Yeghounts Foundation needs your help to cover our annual operating costs as well as provide educational and emotional support to our students.
