It is our pleasure to inform all those who support the Foundation that we were able to secure grants from Google and Microsoft. Now, the participants of the Garavan Project have access to Google Classroom which provides an excellent platform to conduct online classes, invite guest lecturers, and have multi participant meetings with shared screen capabilities and much more. We are working with a wide range of specialists who can teach courses online and/or record their lecture so that given the time difference, the students can view the lecture at their own time. Google Classroom will be an educational platform allowing for online learning. It means that people all around the world can now teach our children.

With access to Microsoft 365 , all software that are standard for the suite (Word, Access, Excel, Teams and others) and are part of the basic set of skills are now available to the students online. Both of these grants allow students participating in the project to learn computer skills needed in the 21st century.
