Moonq is not just technological education. Moonq is a culture and a student who becomes a part of it grows into a responsible and conscious citizen —someone who knows how to recognize true values, and who lives with the concerns of their village, town, and community at heart.
Today in Tashir, we stand at the same point where we were in Artsakh back in 2021— at the end of the first phase of the program we began the process of establishing a Technoschool.
Back then, we began with a fundraising campaign. Thanks to its success, in June 2022, we were able to announce the opening of Moonq Technoschool in the village of Haghorti, in Martuni region of Artsakh.
With the support of the Hovnanian Family Foundation and several other partners, Moonq now rooted in Tashir—began to branch out. Within just two years, its modern model of technological education reached villages of the Tashir community, and lit a fire in the hearts of youth in Kapan and Vanadzor—a fire to discover, to learn, to tame the swift technological steeds.
The opportunity to receive competitive education and professional training in one’s own birthplace reshapes a child’s worldview. One day each of these students could become the founder of a tech-driven local enterprise in their hometown or a pioneer in some field of science. Your donation is measurable, but its impact on these children's lives is immeasurable.
